Gary Jeffreys
Gary Jeffreys is the owner of YesCanDo. Gary is a licensed builder with over 20 years building experience in the Rockhampton & Central Queensland area. Gary came over from Bristol, England in 1985, and has built up a thriving commercial building business. Gary saw the need for a section of his business to specialise in maintenance and repairs and decided to setup YesCanDo in December 2000 to fill a much needed gap in the industry.
Clayton Shuttleton
Yes Can Do Manager
Clayton did his apprenticeship with GT Jeffreys and has know been with the business since 1997, managing YesCanDo since 2004. Clayton has taken the business from strength to strength and now has a team of carpenters, apprentices and full time office admin staff working under him. Other trades are supplied by a pool of reliable contractors, which are under Clayton’s supervision.
Maree Leis
Administration
Maree joined the team in 2008 as an office admin trainee. She prepares quotes, organises jobs and prepares invoices at the end of the job as well as assisting Clayton with correspondence with larger tenders.
Palma Smyth
Office Manager
Palma has worked for GT Jeffreys and YesCanDo since 2001. Her tasks include supervision of staff, and the general day to day running of the office. Palma also has a wealth of computer knowledge which has helped YesCanDo to adopt the latest hardware and software that are essential to run a well managed, progressive business.
Nicola Catanzariti
Carpenter/Painting & Tiling
Nick joined us after coming to Rockhampton from NSW in 2004. Nick was ideal for our maintenance team as he is multi-skilled and can easily turn his hand from carpentry to painting and tiling and smaller concreting jobs.
James Colahan
Carpenter
James joined our team in September 2008 as a 3rd year apprentice carpenter. James has now completed his apprenticeship and assists with any jobs as required, whether it be a small maintenance job or on a larger commercial project.
Tony Carter
Tony has worked for GT Jeffreys for since 1992 as earthworks and concrete works supervisor. He has also taken on the latest addition to the YesCanDo business: YesCanDo “Can Dig”, consisting of a Case 420 skid steer loader, a 3 tonne excavator and 6 tonne truck.
