Gary Jeffreys
Gary Jeffreys is the owner of YesCanDo. Gary is a licensed builder with 20 years experience building in the Rockhampton & Central Queensland area. Gary came over from Bristol, England in 1985, and has built up a thriving commercial building business. Gary saw the need for a section of his business to specialise in maintenance and repairs and decided to setup YesCanDo in December 2000 to fill a much needed gap in the industry.
Clayton Shuttleton
Yes Can Do Manager
Clayton did his apprenticeship with GT Jeffreys and has know been with the business for 12 years, the last 4 as manager of YesCanDo. Clayton has taken the business from strength to strength and now has a team of 4 carpenters, apprentices and full time office admin staff working under him. Other trades are supplied by a pool of reliable contractors, which are under Clayton’s supervision.
Carol Smith
YesCanDo Administration
Carol has been working as Clayton’s office admin assistant for 3 years. She brings years of experience in the building industry and handles the phones taking jobs and assisting with quotes. She prepares quotes, organises jobs and prepares invoices at the end of the job.
Tahnee Anderson
Administration
Tahnee has been working with us for the last 2 years. Tahnee completed her bussiness administration traineeship while working with us. Her tasks include answering the phones, correspondence as directed, assisting with keeping the companies books and assisting Clayton with correspondence with larger tenders.
Maree Leis
Reception
Maree joined the team in January this year. She is an office admin trainee who is assisting all other office staff. Her tasks include answering the phones, opening the mail and distributing to relevant staff, correspondence as directed and assisting with keeping the companies books.
Palma Smyth
Office Manager
Palma has worked for GT Jeffreys and YesCanDo for 8 years. Her tasks include supervision of staff, and the general day to day running of the office. Palma also has a wealth of computer knowledge which has helped YesCanDo to adopt the latest hardware and software that are essential to run a well managed, progressive business.
Leon Roberts
Carpenter
Leon is a local carpenter with over 10 years experience in the housing industry here in Central Queensland. Leon has a wealth of experience and knowledge that enables him to tackle a wide range of work from small repairs to bathroom renovation and office fit outs.
Nicola Catanzariti
Carpenter/Painting & Tiling
Nick joined us after coming to Rockhampton from NSW. Nick was ideal for our maintenance team as he is multi-skilled and can easily turn his hand from carpentry to painting and tiling and smaller concreting jobs.
Brian Benecke
Gladstone Area Supervisor/ Carpenter
Brian joined our team for 4 years ago after moving to Rockhampton from Brisbane. Brian has become a real asset to our business, a carpenter by trade he has a valuable knowledge of domestic and commercial building work. Brian has assisted us in expanding our business to Gladstone. He has now re-located to Gladstone and continues to expand the business well through-out the community.
Jeffery Voevodin
Carpenter
Jeff joined our team in September 2008. Jeff successfully completed his Carpentry apprenticeship in Townsville and has since re-located to Rockhampton. Jeff has been a great asset to our team.
James Colahan
3rd year Carpentry Apprentice
James joined our team in September 2008. James joined us as a 3rd year apprentice carpenter. James assists all our tradesmen with any jobs required.
Tony Carter
Tony has worked for GT Jeffreys for nearly 15 years as earthworks and concrete works supervisor and has recently taken on the latest addition to the YesCanDo business: YesCanDo “Can Dig”. It consists of a Case 420 skid steer loader, a 3 tonne excavator and 6 tonne truck.
